Service Engineer Mechanical Hot End

Job Function:

  • Provide professional customer services. Plan and prepare installations, commissioning and start-ups of Emhart Glass equipment. Instruct customers on proper set-up and operation of equipment. Trouble-shooting assistance on Emhart Glass products and provide on-site hands-on support

Main Tasks:

  • Plan, prepare and conduct installation, commissioning and start-up of equipment as per project
  • Specify installation material 
  • Act as on-site installation lead engineer 
  • Conduct contractually agreed take-over procedures and performance tests 
  • Conduct pre-shipment acceptance tests at Emhart Glass manufacturing sites 
  • Training and know-how transfer to customers on equipment installed 
  • Provide “After-Sales” service and trouble shooting to customers 
  • Conduct equipment audits at customers’ site and make recommendations for upgrade and maintenance

Other Tasks:

  •  Provide customer training on behalf of the Emhart Glass training center
  • Assist Sales in technical discussions with customers

Required Knowledge, Education and Experience:

  •  You have a degree or a completed apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience with strong interest in controls engineering
  • You have very good knowledge in pneumatics and you are familiar with servo electric drives
  • You have two to three years of experience in a similar job in the large scale machinery industry either as a Service Engineer or as Maintenance Engineer

  • Team skills: You like to work in teams and you easily obtain natural leadership.
  • Communication skills: You have good communication skills, both verbally and in writing 
  • Languages skills: 
    • Very good in Russian, both spoken and written
    • Good in English, both spoken and written
    • Any additional other major European language is an asset
  • Training skills:
    • In the interaction with customers you have the ability to teach them on how they can use our equipment
  • Computer skills:
    • Microsoft office tools
    • E-mail system (we are using Lotus Notes)

  • you have a traveling passport and a driving license for passenger car
