• Functions of a Mold Design Department
• Bottle formation by the Blow & Blow process
• Bottle formation by the Press & Blow process
• Mold Design Limits and Restrictions
• Container Requirements
• Basic I.S. Blow & Blow parison design
• Basic I.S. Press & Blow parison design
• Narrow Neck Press & Blow parison design
• Ideal gob weight/baffle diameter
• Mold equipment parts
• Invert dimension and mold holder selection
• VertiFlow/InVertiFlow cooling

Schedule:

3 days of theoretical sessions (using Emhart Glass provided documentation)

2 days practical sessions, including parison development, follow by Container Forming, Blank/Blow mould cooling simulations
