Advanced manufacturing process developments have been implemented for spout bowls and to meet the stringent demands of the glass container forming process.

Emhart Glass 315, a bonded AZS material containing 20% zirconia, is produced at higher firing temperatures, resulting in improved density and a highly corrosion resistant matrix. These performance characteristics make 315 an excellent choice for spout bowls and Emhart Glass’ Metering Spout Bowl. The Metering Spout Bowl uses this formulation exclusively, and an average service life of 20-22 months has been reported.
