Line Server

The Line server is a helpful system to link the FlexIS Control system in a Glass container plant together. It allows handling and storing the data and jobs from the FlexIS control system in a higher-level database. Up to 16 Control systems can be managed by one Line-server. The look and feel of the screens is familiar to the User console of FlexIS control system.

The Line server offers following main features:

  • Offline Jobhandling
  • Automatic Data Backup procedure of the User consoles
  • Statistics
  • Production data access / interface

 

The Line server hardware includes:

  • Server with UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply)
  • RAID system
  • DVD Reader / Burner
  • 19” Monitor
  • Cisco Layer-3 - Switch
