Production difficulties and disturbances observed on arcuate blank mold open and close, such as plunger - blank mold aligning due to heat elongation and wear, unequal Parison conditioning due to the cooling systems and opening angles, accelerated mold equipment wear (short blank mold life time), and mold holder arm wear are now overcome.

All the mentioned difficulties and disturbances are in great extent eliminated with the new AIS type parallel mold holder supporting mechanism for the 5” section. In addition, it brings the unmatched versatility of cooling operation to the small section frame.
