Welcome to the 2012 edition of Glass Tidings

January\Feburary2012 - This will be a very special year for Emhart Glass, because we celebrate 100 years as a company. Hartford-Fairmont was founded in 1912, and even though our roots actually go back even further than that (particularly in Sweden), that’s the year we call our ‘birthday’.

Over the century we’ve been in business, both our company and the glass industry have been transformed beyond recognition, and we’re proud that our innovations have played a role in that.  To learn more about Emhart Glass products please contact your local Emhart Glass representative.

But some things never change. Our prime focus is still to make the core glassmaking processes more accurate, reliable and manageable. And our clients still look to us to help them improve the efficiency and economy of their glassmaking plants.

We have plenty of surprises and celebrations in store for 2012, and I look forward to sharing them with you in the coming months. For now, I will simply wish you a very happy, productive and prosperous New Year.
