Difficult times around Covid-19

Current times are difficult and suddenly we envisage situations and restrictions we would never have thought possible in today's globalized world and everybody is affected. The current situation, the threat by Covid-19, is exceptional and conditions change nearly by the hour. With countries closing borders and restricting social life significantly, we are trying to keep "normal" business.

However, we, and our employees, are already extremely restricted. With respect to many countries, there is no travelling possible anymore due to closed borders, and we have stopped travelling to follow the request by many governments for "social distancing". This of course affects our ability to provide service. Most of our valued business partners have implemented restrictions as well. We will try to support remotely or over the phone. Our service engineers can be reached and will do their best to assist.

We got information from our logistics provider that we have to expect effects on the logistics of goods as well. With heavily reduced capacity in flights and other means of transportation, this will of course impair our ability to deliver. Our central storage center in Luxemburg is currently still working without restrictions. The reduced transport capacity can lead to delay in deliveries of parts.

In case of emergencies, please get in contact with our service department, your Key Account Manager or any service engineer you might know. We will do everything possible to help.

In the manufacturing locations in Malaysia and the USA, we encounter some restrictions directed by the local government. These governmental directions could also influence the local supply chain and herewith affect our manufacturing schedule. We will do everything to keep delays to an absolute minimum while following instructions given by governments and health organizations. For specific situations, we will communicate directly with the concerned parties. We will monitor this situation closely.

As a company, we do our best to protect our employees and strictly follow all regulations and recommendations from health organizations and local governments.

We will constantly inform you about the situation and do whatever we can to reduce the negative effects.

We wish everybody the best to overcome these difficult times and please, stay healthy.
